Who We Are
Arranmore Charters is a family-run business based on Arranmore Island and Burtonport, County Donegal. Built on years of experience and local knowledge of the sea, we provide a range of marine activities for visitors, families, groups, and adventurers alike.
Our Skipper – Jim Muldowney
At the helm of the Elsie Jayne, our purpose-built charter boat, is owner and skipper Jim Muldowney. With years of experience navigating Donegal’s waters, Jim is fully qualified and licensed, holding a Skipper’s Ticket along with all required certifications for safe and professional vessel charter. His knowledge of the Rosses coastline, maritime history, and local landmarks makes every trip informative, engaging, and tailored to your interests.
Our Boat – Elsie Jayne
The Elsie Jayne is a modern, fully equipped Evolution 38 charter boat, designed to provide both comfort and safety on the water. Licensed to carry 12 passengers and 2 crew, she features spacious deck areas, cabin seating, galley and shower facilities, as well as specialist equipment for diving and angling trips. For wildlife tours and private charters, guests can relax in comfort while enjoying breathtaking views of the Donegal coastline and offshore islands.
